Purpose:
It can be used for welding the same type of heat-resistant stainless steel working at high temperature, but also for welding the chromium steel with high hardness (such as Cr5Mo, Cr9Mo, Cr13, Cr28, etc.) and dissimilar steel.
Features:
The A402 is a pure Austenitic stainless steel electrode of Cr26Ni21 with rutile coating. The deposited metal has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature of 900 ~ 1100℃. AC, DC dual-use, with good welding process performance.
Points to note:
1. The electrode must be baked at 300-350℃ for 1H before welding.
2. Before welding must be removed from the welding rust, oil, moisture and other impurities.
3. DC power is recommended, because of AC welding, the penetration is shallow, the current should not be too large, in order to avoid skin redness, cracking.
4. As far as possible to reduce the heat input, electrode swing range should not be too large.
5. The preheating and inter-channel temperature should be kept below 150℃.
